Story: Don't You Dare Marry Me
“No, I don’t. And please don’t think this is a misguided attempt to keep you in my bed whenever I want. As soon as the trust is set up, I won’t be attached to it. You will. I’m simply funding it. I don’t want you to think that I’m trying to keep you connected to me if you don’t want to be.”
Nicola parted her lips to say something but then stopped. She had no idea what to even say to that. She’d never expected something like this.
“Like I told you last night, I want you to get everything that you want and deserve and more. This is just one way to guarantee that’ll happen. And it’ll help Alanna, too. Consistency of care is important.”
“I don’t have words.” Nicola moved in and kissed Abagail hard. “Does the rest of the world know how soft you are?”
“I’m not soft,” Abagail said, her lips moving into a slight pout before she masked the look immediately. “I just think that thereare a lot of problems in the world, and sometimes, money can solve them.”
Nicola laughed lightly. “Fuck, I love you.” She moved in swiftly, capturing Abagail’s lips in a heated and happy kiss. She laughed again when she pulled away and grinned. “I need to tell Aunt Simone and Alanna.”
“Sure, but not right now. It’s barely even morning.” Abagail pulled her leg up over Nicola’s hip and tugged her impossibly closer. “And I don’t know about you, but I don’t stay up all night often, and I’m plain worn out.”
“Are you saying you want to go to sleep?” Nicola asked.
“Yeah, in a minute.” Abagail kissed her. This time, she deepened it. She slid her tongue along Nicola’s lips until Nicola parted them to admit her.
Abagail hummed, moving a hand down Nicola’s chest to the strap still attached. It took some maneuvering, but Abagail managed to wiggle her fingers under the straps and plant her fingers against Nicola’s pussy.
“I think I owe you something first.”
“You don’t owe me anything—ever.” Nicola kissed her again. “But I’m not sure I’ll ever say no to another orgasm.”
Abagail chuckled and inserted two fingers inside Nicola before removing her fingers and finding her clit. “How hard?’
“Hard and fast. Like you, I’m exhausted after last night.”
“Good.” Abagail didn’t wait. She moved her fingers across Nicola’s clit, much like Nicola had done to her only minutes before.
They kissed. Nicola closed her eyes, concentrating on the pleasure that Abagail was teasing out of her, of the way that she couldn’t quite move back like she wanted to because they were still connected by the strap, of the fact that Abagail had this hold on her that she never wanted to shake. She liked it.
Being possessed by someone who was so strong and confident, who knew how to do things that Nicola would never even dream of. Nicola wrapped her arm around Abagail’s back, tugging their bodies even closer. She held onto Abagail tightly, letting Abagail fuck her into oblivion and then some. She wanted to fall asleep in Abagail’s arms, wake up when it was warm and her brain was fogging from the lack of caffeine, and start to plan for her future.
A plan that she never thought she’d be able to make.
But because of Abagail, it was possible.
Nicola gasped, the moan escaping her lips unexpectedly. She pressed her forehead into Abagail’s shoulder and closed her eyes, feeling each swipe of Abagail’s fingers against her, each breath Abagail took as her chest moved, as the air blew across her cheeks. Nicola hyper-focused on all of it and pushed everything else from her mind.
“I’m so close,” Nicola whispered. “I’m all yours.”
Abagail kissed her cheek and then her lips, stealing Nicola’s breath. Nicola came. It wasn’t an explosion of an orgasm, but it was a slow slide from buildup to gentle pleasure. She closed her eyes and held onto Abagail long and hard, needing the closeness more than the touches and the sensations. She kissed Abagail, again and again, her heart soaring with happiness and joy.
They weren’t very different from each other, were they?
And maybe, just maybe, Nicola might get the happy ending she’d always wanted. Even if it didn’t look like she’d once thought it would.
Pulling the toy out of Abagail, Nicola slipped it off and shoved it onto the nightstand. She’d deal with it later. Right now, she wanted Abagail in her arms, and she wanted sleep to blanket both of them. Curling up behind Abagail, Nicola wrapped their bodies together and sighed contentedly against Abagail.
“I love you,” she whispered, not even worrying or caring if Abagail didn’t respond in kind. She just wanted Abagail to know that she was loved, that the feeling and the emotion was there for Nicola.
Maybe that could be enough.
Because Nicola knew one thing for sure—this was who she wanted.
Abagail.
No one else.
