Page 90 of Catching Trouble
He was relentless, pushing me higher, making me see stars, battering me against the shores of my sanity. When I didn’t think I could take another breath, he gripped my buttock and pulled me into his mouth.
At the same time, he tugged down on my wrists, plunging his tongue deep inside me, sending a bolt of pleasure through my entire body. I gasped, dragging in air. When the strength in my legs faltered, he held me firm, braced against his body, taking my weight.
He tugged on the tie again, and I hissed a harsh, “Yes,” my body screaming for release. Only by his mouth, though. Only Maxime.
He didn’t stop. Instead, he pushed into me, over and over, driving me on until the blood in my body thrummed and my limbs felt helpless. Pointless. The frustration of not being able to reach out and touch him drove me mad.
I knew I’d want no one else’s lips on my skin again.
Nobody else’s touch—only Maxime’s.
Finally, when the room closed in around me and I melted against his mouth, I surrendered to this beautiful man, body and soul.
The second the thunder rolling through my bodyquietened, Maxime was on his feet. He stepped behind me, pulling his tie from my wrists before dropping it on the bed. Next, he scooped me up, bringing me to his chest, speaking words against my hair.
“T’es incroyable … vraiment,” he breathed.
I chuckled. The words sounded so pretty coming from his lips, but I didn’t have a clue what they meant.
When he heard my laugh, he brushed my hair from my face, kissing me on the forehead before laying me on his bed. Kneeling next to me, he ran his fingertips over my wrists, stroking them as I nestled against the pillows. Maxime and his talented mouth had exhausted me, and I was fine with feeling all warm and spent.
Until I spotted the monster bulge in his pants.
I blinked. Holy crap. Had he been this big onthe boat? I’d definitely been able to hold him in one hand. But circumstances had been different, and who knew the tricks adrenaline played on memory?
People always accused me of being too curious and impetuous. Not wanting to break the habit of a lifetime, I reached for him, finding his hardness immediately. The second my fingertips brushed over him, he sucked in a breath, finding my eyes.
As I saw their heat, I doubled down on my earlier assessment. Who had time to wait?
Drawing my fingers down his length, I gripped my bottom lip with my teeth. “I want you, Maxime.”
He closed his lashes before joining me on the bed, brushing strands of my hair out of my face. “You have me.”
I gave him the tiniest of smiles before closing my hand around him. “All of you?”
When I gripped him harder, he stilled—then eased forward into my palm. “How much can you take?”
Little fairies of delight danced in my belly, and I shrugged. “Let’s see, shall we?”
I unbuttoned his pyjama pants slowly and released him. As I ran my fingers down the length of him, a smile curled over my lips. “I think I can handle you.”
He smiled, too—but it wasn’t cheeky. It was sinful. Dark and delicious. Something tugged low in my belly at the promise in it.
“Good,” he ground out. “But,” he took my hand from his dick and kissed the back of my fingers. “We have to be careful. Safe.”
“Oh, yes, sorry. I haven’t got… “
Maxime leaned in and kissed my forehead. “Don’t worry, I have it covered.”
He rolled away and off the bed, kicking out of his pyjama bottoms. I swallowed hard. I’d never seen his bare buttocks before, and they didn’t disappoint. They were high and tight, and the soft lamplight bounced off his skin, pulling my focus.
But then, as the rip of foil reached my ears; I drew my eyes over the tattoos that covered his back. I’d only ever focussed on his chest—I was only human, after all. But his back was even more detailed than the rest of him. I made a mental plan to spend at least a month going over his body with a fine-toothed comb.
Finally, blissfully, he joined me back on the bed, and I sat up. Maxime took my face into his hands, bringing his soft lips to mine. The second we kissed, my now distracted brain immediately snappedto attention, waking up to join the party.
“Are you sure?” he asked, his hot breath at my lips.
I nodded, running my hand over his impossibly large shoulder. “I promise, I’m absolutely certain. But I wonder why I didn’t have after-hours activities written into my contract already. It’s very rude.”
