Mariposa is a young woman in a secluded town. Her mother was a witch and ran away when she was younger.

Her father went crazy because of this and began burning young women under the pretense that they were witches. Mariposa didn’t agree with these ways. After an argument with her father she discovers her powers.

He attempts to burn her at the stake but it doesn’t work and she runs away. All she wants is a bakery and a safe place for everyone.
