Despite this latest blow, she’s determined to help Aunt Rita fight her cancer. At the hospital she runs into a man she hasnt seen since high school. He was a troubled kid and lived with them briefly when her mother tried to help him. Shes always seen him as a brother. But they lost touch and now hes all grown up and has become a doctor. Hes achieved the kind of success shes always dreamed of and she cant help feeling like a total failure when hes around.
