He sat and stared without saying anything, but was quick with a knife when one of his guests decided to put his hands on me.
Just like my family, violence is second nature to him, and I shouldnt have found it as attractive as I did, but I couldnt help myself. Everything about Daniil was a walking sin I wanted to commit and worry about repenting for later, but my bodyguards had other plans.
I left that night thinking Id never have to see him again, but when I realized I had to go back in the morning to return something, my twin sister volunteered to go in my place, knowing she wouldnt be swayed by the intense blue-eyed boss. Daniil isn’t fooled by our game though, and as punishment for lying to him, he wants me for seven days. Even when I tell him who I am, he isnt swayed in the least that taking me would cause a war between our families.
