I never expected things to turn out like this
I’m not the Roman Gold I used to be anymore.
The Shadow is dead.
I want a better life. One free of violence and filled with a certain silky demon’s delicious presence.
But its all about the fight first, the swooning second. The world is going to hell (again), hurtling toward irreversible change.
The seriously bad kind.
Because of me.
Because of whats inside my chest.
If Im going to have a life with Xavier and stop the unfolding chaos, Ive seriously got to roll up my sleeves and make this stop.
