Then he goes and builds this crazy program that helps fine-tune my slap shot, and I realize there’s way more to him than shy smiles and nervous energy. He’s brilliant, thoughtful, and kind of a menace in the best way.
I was supposed to keep an eye on him. Instead, I can’t stop looking.
And suddenly, the biggest thing on the line this season might be my heart.
