Story: Perfect Three
Lucy’s mouth formed an O as she considered his words. Sub—yes, she guessed that’s what she was going to be. Before she had a chance to think about it, Sebastian took her hand. She led them down the side corridor and into the vestibule for the two bedroom suites at the side of the house.
They impressed both men. Her mother had spent money getting the two suites in luxury condition.
They each had a spa bath as well as a shower in the bathroom.
The beds were king-sized and the furniture very opulent.
The small parlors adjoining each were very comfortable looking with soft couches, a television set, and nook for eating with a table and two chairs.
There was a separate entrance for them so they didn’t have to come into the main house.
“This is lovely, Lucy. It looks really rich and special.”
“I know. Mum figured if people thought they were being indulged and spoilt, there was more chance they would come back or at least spread the word about the place. And it worked. She had lots of repeat bookings. She was a marvelous cook too, so the food was always special. She even made scones with her own jam or lovely cakes for afternoon tea and pampered her guests.”
“You know, Jack could teach you to cook.”
Lucy looked at Jack in surprise.
He winked at her. “I’m a pretty good cook even if I do say so myself. I’ve even helped out in the restaurant kitchen when they’ve been caught short-handed.”
“I’m going to keep that in mind, Jack. First, I’ve got to sort out the damn roof, and I’m committed to a three-month temping block, but the idea of learning to cook is really appealing. I get so sick of stir-fries, toasted sandwiches, and burnt omelets.”
They all laughed.
Jack took her other hand as they all walked back into the main house, toward the front door. Lucy stopped to slide on a pair of sandals and stepped out, following the two men. She closed the door and they all walked to the car.
Jack held the front passenger door of the dust-covered, red SUV open for her and she slid in. The two men got in with Sebastian behind the wheel and Jack sitting behind him.
“So where to?”
Lucy shrugged her shoulders. “Beats me, I’m in your hands.”
“Eventually, I hope you will be.”
The look Sebastian gave her sent a quiver directly between her legs. She knew she widened her eyes as she stared at him.
He gave her a half smirk then started the car.
Jack laughed quietly to himself in the backseat. “You’ll have to be careful what you say around the boss man. He can turn the simplest sentence into something so exciting.”
Lucy decided she’d store that bit of information away and try to remind herself to think before she spoke.
They drove off down the cobbled drive and then out onto the road.
“There’s that great Thai place at Mount Victoria, Seb, you know. Thai Silk. It had those stir-fried yellow prawns that you went crazy over.”
“Yeah, I remember them. They were delicious. Do you like Thai food, Lucy?”
“Yep, love curries—the hotter the better.”
Sebastian glanced at Jack through the rear-vision mirror. “Ah, more reasons to like her.” He lowered his eyes back to the road, but gave her a quick look. “We love hot curries, too.”
It only took ten minutes to drive to the restaurant. The men escorted Lucy inside and when they’d settled in their seats with the menus, Sebastian peered over the top of his to Lucy. She noticed that Jack didn’t even bother opening his.
“Lucy, you can order for yourself. I just... I like doing it. Guess it makes me feel all protective of those I love.”
“Oh. Um ... well, I guess I have to get used to it.”
Sebastian dropped his menu and reached out to take her hand.
He looked serious as he said, “No, Lucy. You don’t ‘have’ to do anything.
I might be bossy, but I’m not demanding complete obedience.
If you would prefer to do something yourself, you tell us.
We always, and I mean always, discuss things openly. ”
“I understand, Sebastian. I didn’t mean it the way it came out. I don’t mind you ordering for me. I’m just not used to having someone do things for me, that’s what I meant by getting used to it. I’ve been alone so long and always had to do everything for myself.”
The smile was sexy on his face. Lucy thought that would be another thing she’d have to get used to, getting excited by these men just smiling at her.
When the waitress came over, Sebastian ordered Chicken Satay and mini Spring Rolls as starters, then three chicken Penang curries to follow, as well as lemon squashes all round.
“What, you’re not having the prawns, Seb?”
“Hearing Lucy talk about curries made me want one.” He winked at Lucy. “Plus, it’s a well-known fact that curries increase sexual arousal, not that I need it with you two around.”
Jack roared with laughter while blood rushed to Lucy’s cheeks so much she figured the chef would be able to cook an egg on her face.
She wasn’t sure how she managed to get through the meal. Hovering continually was Sebastian’s remark. It kept reminding her that she had agreed, at some future point, to become a third in their sexual romps. She was nervous, excited, aroused, and alarmed—all at the same time.
She did admit to herself she was glad when the meal was finally over. They left the restaurant and decided to walk around for a while. With a man either side holding her hand, Lucy felt special, but it still didn’t take away her tension.
Around seven, Sebastian looked at his watch. “Time to get you back home, I think.”
Those few words had the same somersaulting butterflies that had become pterodactyls in her stomach last night now turn into T-Rexes stomping about. What was going to happen?
Would they just drop her off?
Would they stay?
Was sex on the menu with her as the dessert course?
