Behind those walls, I was experimented on and studied, torn apart and put back together. Caged, collared, and stripped of any sense of identity I once had. A lifelong prisoner. Now I’m free, and my former hell has been destroyed. Every bar that once confined me lies in ruin, yet I still can’t escape my cage. It’s been a month since we discovered what the military was trying to do, and since I swore to bring the group to the rifts. Ever since, I’ve been living in fear of the day they’ll call on me to fulfill that promise. No one knows better than me what’s at stake, but most days, my mind is not my own.
