Their fiercest adversaries were the Armgard, a race of female warriors born from the magic of a different ancient one. The ensuing war devastated the Seven Territories. Ultimately, the Bane Shifters triumphed, annihilating the Armgard. As compensation, they demanded seclusion on Mt. Elysium.
