TESS Everyone is blind now. The blackout is so thick that without a flashlight, I can’t see my own hand in front of my face. But in this fallen, harsh world, there are things I do see. Like, how Bee, my bestie of ten years, is hoarding secrets darker than the blackout. She knows what this is. The darkness that plagues us. The sickness that is spreading and killing us. Hide in the darkness, follow the warriors back to where they came from, and from there, I can find a way home— But that plan starts to dissolve when I realise he is among them. Dare.
