Nataly is safe. She’s living on Arise Colony with all her friends and family. There’s plenty of food, shelter, and even time to have some fun! None of them need to worry about being attacked because the powerful Talins who own the colony will do everything to keep them secure.
She should be happy and content, but she isn’t. Every day is a struggle.
Leaving her small domicile is terrifying, even walking the short distance to the communal building for a meal. The last time she tried, she panicked and had to crawl back inside her home. She spent the night curled up in the hiding spot she’s created in a storage cupboard.
She can’t live this way. She should ask for help, but she’s been the strong one for so long that she can’t bring herself to talk about it.
Theres one other issue shes not telling anyone. Shes having vivid dreams and doesnt know if theyre part of her anxiety or one of the rare times she knows things.
Its all too much, so when Daxus gently forces himself into her life, shes ready to try just about anything.
