When I lost my chance to play professionally due to an injury, I vowed to become the best orthopedic doctor I could, so the next player doesn’t have to give up their dream. When an old friend asks me to be the team doctor for his newly formed team, I can’t say no. Turns out the career I may be saving is that of the woman I’ve fallen hard for.
