Then there was my mother. A true Southern woman, born and raised. Think Scarlett O’Hara meets Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies, who was gearing up for wedding #6.
Yep, that’s right. My mom was getting married for the sixth time and apparently couldn’t plan crap without me. Add in my new Comic Book store and I was at my limit.
So imagine my surprise when I spot the very person who caused one of my problems!
And no, I ain’t talkin’ about the man upstairs.

Never one to shirk my responsibilities, I jump into the fray and brace, because that’s when life gets really interesting.
When the truth comes out about why I left all those years ago, the club rallies when I receive unexpected visitors from the Russian Bratva.
That’s when I realize home isn’t just a place, it’s the people who always have my back.
