There, he meets the enchanting Elizabeth Bennet, and discovers that when he is with her, his turbulent heart finds peace. He wants to be with her always, but she can see what he cannot: beneath his anguish and self-recrimination, he is furious with his sister! Elizabeth knows that a heart filled with rage cannot know love, and insists that Mr. Darcy must work through his anger before she can accept him.
