Despite his mounting desires, he tries to resist claiming her as his own. After she disobeys him during a trip to town, however, she does the unexpected—she comes to him and pleads to be punished. The intimate act of chastising her alters the nature of their relationship, and when he asks Hanna to start thinking of him as her daddy, things take a more passionate turn.
