Going to a company Christmas party on Christmas Eve is not really how I wanted to spend my holiday considering this is the first Christmas without my mom. I don’t want to go to a party full of drunk people all looking for an escape from their sorrow too. But while at the party, I meet a man who has the same sad look in his eyes as me, and he doesn’t want to be here either. I throw caution to the wind and go with him to spend the last hours of Christmas Eve only to wind up falling in love. But this man isn’t who I think he is. It can be read as a stand-alone as can all the other books in the series. This one is full of office-place romance, a sweet virgin, and a grumpy businessman who would do anything to keep her. Who needs resolutions when you can have romance? It’s a much better ‘R’ word in my opinion.
